Zarathustra in Cologne

Dreadful. Rude and irresponsible manager. Not recommended.

The restaurant used to be called "Zarathustra". We went in spontaneously and received a very friendly welcome. These are not that big, but very cozy and authentically designed rooms. Clean and calm. The food was ready in 20 minutes and tasted delicious. We would love to come back.

Zarathustra's name recently is PARQUE BAZIE ... same owner ... more choice and good quality as always ... simply delicious :-)

Super delicious and authentic food!

So the food is not special. I asked for a spoon for my café, waiter says sugar is in it. How does he know that this is sugar? Didn't we ask for sharpness? The waiter rude weird restaurant. Nothing for me!

The nicest owner and staff. Really took great care of us. Went above and beyond to accomodate our group. He aided is in finding The location AND parking our car on his lot. Food was very tasty aswell. Only outdone by The sheer kindness shown to us by The owner.

Delicious authentic and friendly

I am a Persian, I have never seen such a Persian restaurant before, under no circumstances do I recommend it, I ordered water, brought the waitress in a glass from the tap and for 3 €. The food and the tea was also not awesome ??

Staff nice, food good. Small room that seems a bit crowded, but everything is right.

Food was great, nothing to complain about. Still have a request, and indeed lives my longtime friend in the house next door. I often play league of legends with him and he is not appreciably good - no. But what really bothers me is that he is simply too stingy for normally good internet. My question: Is your WLAN enough for the house number 6 and if so, is it possible to unlock the entrance for a small tip? It only annoys. Greetings and have a nice evening

Worse place ever, do not recommend at all. Very unfriendly atmosphere with impolite servants...

the map on the website and in the restaurant do not match, which causes confusion among guests and service. The food was ok, spices were saved. The service speaks only a bit German, but was very helpful. Prices completely fine

Delicious foid from sheraz

Nice design, meals and conversation with the family managing the place. I recommend this restaurant.

Had a groupon coupon with a small menu selection. I did not find sooo delicious and cheap for the price. If you want to advertise, then do not introduce and offer the simplest dishes that are not actually Persian food.

Very nice staff and owner and comfortable location off the main road. The food was okay, partly a bit bland and unloving (old potatoes in the dish and obviously warmed up from yesterday). Salads and vegetarian appetizers were delicious and beautifully arranged. Unfortunately the dishes were very dirty. First the glasses (lip marks on both) and then the plate (dried yoghurt and fat residue). Of course we got new dishes but the overall impression was rather disappointing.

Lovely place , very nice staff - great maners and lovely smiles. The food is much better in England but, it was best I've tasted in Europe. The food was considerably large portions and it was very filling. I am satisfied

Lovely quiet place, with excellent quality of food. A great spot for a very filling dinner. Also an extremely lovely and friendly waitress! A true Persian atmosphere!

The food was VERY, VERY good. The communication considerably less so. No explanation at all about how the arrangement we had booked would work, giving us a couple surprises we would have liked to know, so we could have ordered a couple things outside the arrangement. Two courses were also served very rapidly, giving us no time to catch our breath. Again, the food is absolutely fantastic, real treat. Go there, you'll love it. I'm serious, it's up there among the best I've ever had. But even then, the communication issue managed to put a bit of a damper on our evening.

Down to earth owner, he cook with a mind...not regular food

Family, friendly and delicious food. Just a few steps away from the noisy 08/15 nightlife district "Zülpicher Straße". As a German, I have visually, tastily and through the wonderful fragrance the feeling of dipping into a completely different world, in which I am very welcome. Like a little vacation from everyday life - nice. Only the wet cells and the outdoor area could stand up to modernization.

An authentic Persian/Iranic feel that comes from the ambiance in the space and the service from the people who serve you.It feels homely.Has an ourside eating space and yeah the food was good! Love it

good meal, but when paying, she refuses to pay with card insisting on payment in cash !! more when we asked for a glass of water, she brings us a bottle of water that was too expensive! we did not order the salad, but she served it to us pretending it was part of the meal, and at the time of payment, she had added it to our bill !! Incredible! I feel that she wanted to increase the price up and the worst is to ask for cash! I do not recommend!

Were there for brunch. Somewhat different than usual. Food is brought to the table. If you want a second look, it will also be brought to the table. But it was already very plentiful in the first round. Just reordered a few little things. Service very nice and friendly, eat very tasty! The restaurant has a very familiar atmosphere - and we liked it a lot. We will definitely go again.

Honestly, the food wasn't that bad at all. Tasty and authentic persian food. But the owner should start thinking about his price policy. One friend ordered a dish for 10€ and I shared a mixed meat platter with rice with two other friends. At first we thought the price would be 16€ in total, because the menu said it is good for at least two persons. When the food arrived, we felt confirmed, because our meat platter was slightly larger than my other friend's dish for 10€. When the check came we couldn't belive our eyes. They charged us 16€ per person for the mixed meat platter. That means we payed 48€ for a dish, which was only slightly larger than a 10€ dish. The dishes were almost identical, except the size of our rice bowl, a basket of bread with dips and the amount of meat we had. On our meat platter were only two more pieces of meat balls, a piece of lamb meat and three chicken breast strips. But that doesn't really justify a almost five times larger price compared to a single person dish. We were very disappointed and felt a little bit ripped off. We will definately visit never again! Sad!

Mediocre at best

Easily the best Persian restaurant in the city. Lovely people and the flavours are vibrant yet subtle. The meat is excellent, I'd especially recommend the chicken kebabs (djujeh fillet) and the various lamb gravies.

Its very small restaurant but the best irani food I ever taste . The most tender meat in sultani and the most fluffy rice .Add to that you find the most frindly chef .
